Desktop Faxing

Traditional fax machines are inefficient and expensive. On top of the equipment cost, they cost you in paper, toner, phone bills, maintenance and labor/time-motion inefficiency – the greatest hidden operating cost. Think about it - most of the documents you fax are created on a computer. In order to send them through a fax machine, you must print out the document, manually create a cover page, go to the fax machine, feed in the document, punch in the fax number, wait while the machine scans and transmits it, and return to your workstation. And every time you receive a fax, you must leave your workstation to retrieve it from the community fax machine.
